06 xp 700. I took it to moab and the cooling fan ran a lot. I remember when i first bought the unit and it only came on every so often. I did have to pull the raidiator out for a repair. I blead the the system realy good to get all the air out. The system never steamed over. I think eather an air pocket or a bad ETM (engine temp sensor.) I am thinking of running engine ice for coolant instead of antifreeze.What do you all think.

Never heard of engine ice, but I'd change out sensor and try to get it act as it did when you first bought it

Its real tough to bleed them out, I would check that again. I have heard good things about engine ice.

I put engin ice in my 05 and so far it is ok, except for the price$$$$$

Sounds like an air pocket, if the sensor was gone I think it would either run continous or not at all...just my opinion.

Run the front end up on ramps and bleed it again.

i run engine Ice in my DS. the first time riding it after putting it in, I thought my cooling system was broke, as the radiator fan was not coming on!!!

it came on, after a brutal 30 min ride up and down steep, tall dunes. the stuff works great....and it only costs like 20 buck for a gallon

My fan seems to run a lot also. I'm going to install a temp gauge this weekend so I can keep a better eye on how hot it's actually getting. Good luck, Mike

Mine only runs a lot if the radiator starts to get mud on it. As soon as I get it cleaned it run normaly.
