06 xp 700. I took it to moab and the cooling fan ran a lot. I remember when i first bought the unit and it only came on every so often. I did have to pull the raidiator out for a repair. I blead the the system realy good to get all the air out. The system never steamed over. I think eather an air pocket or a bad ETM (engine temp sensor.) I am thinking of running engine ice for coolant instead of antifreeze. What do you all think.

Its real tough to bleed them out, I would check that again. I have heard good things about engine ice.

Sounds like an air pocket, if the sensor was gone I think it would either run continous or not at all...just my opinion.

i run engine Ice in my DS. the first time riding it after putting it in, I thought my cooling system was broke, as the radiator fan was not coming on!!!

it came on, after a brutal 30 min ride up and down steep, tall dunes. the stuff works great....and it only costs like 20 buck for a gallon

My fan seems to run a lot also. I'm going to install a temp gauge this weekend so I can keep a better eye on how hot it's actually getting. Good luck, Mike
