Just finished installing my new stereo on my Ranger. Installed two Boss 6.5" speakers in a set of 6" thinwall PVC caps, and a Millenia PRV 525 headunit. Mounted the caps with speakers to horizontal brace above the head rests, and attached the main portion of the head unit, under the top portion of the dash, to the cross braces that hold the front bezel. I am almost happy with the part I am going to use to attach the corded remote module to the top of the dash. I designed the component in FreeCad, and will be printing it out soon as I'm done tweaking the screw hole sizes, soon as I determine what fasteners going to use. I'll post pictures of the actual install soon as I can get some taken and the rain quits.
