My local guy who I installed the complete secondary sheave on his 2012 Range 800 called and gave me some feedback.

He said the following:

As far as the braking goes, I really like it and even though you can make it freewheel it does not the way I ride now. Only freewheels if you push yourself off a hill. I told him if he blipped the throttle doing that it would engage and he tried it and it does.

He said the jerking on braking that started around 20 mph or so on down has stopped, much smoother than before and lots less noise.

He said he didn't think acceleration had changed but shifting seemed smoother too.

He picked up some RPM he had lost with this heavier 27" tires too.

So I asked him, overall would you recommend this to other Ranger owners? He said this exact word, "Absolutely"
