Check your motor mount! It's behind the storage box on the 07's. I replaced mine with the Napa 61 Ford Falcon just to be on the safe side. What I've seen on here when a belt trashes it almost always the motor mount causing the problem. Take a pry bar and lift up on the motor and see if it's the mount seperating.

that sucks. My only advice is to check the motor mount.

First of all Welcome to the PRC, and second of all if its still under warranty have them check front motor mount, take a crow bar and lift up on motor to see if the mount is seperated. If it is than replaced it with a napa or a o'reilly mount. Also Polaris has come out with a new belt make them put on this new belt. This has been a big problem with some 06 and a bunch of 07's. Also the stock clutch that comes in the machine is JUNK. You can check with Dale at Bikeman Performance he can fix you up with a good roller clutch and new big belt, hes one of our sponsors.

There was a run of bad motor mounts that got sent to Polaris. If it is ok and the clutches are ok, then contact Dale at Bikeman Performance. He was saying something about the secondary clutch causing the problem.

Dale also sells a tool to check the alignment, I would check it as well as the motormount. If you haven't checked the mount yet i would bet on that being the problem.

Hate to say it, broke a belt last week turkey hunting, 66 hrs since I made the double mount with the NAPA Ford Tranny mount. Both mounts are still good, checked the alignment today and it's good so the belt just let go. Lot of long hard days - put about 450 miles in 6 days (hard miles) it broke the last eveing of the hunt so that was good. Just put on the "NEW Polaris" belt we'll see - keep you all posted

do keep us posted on how the "new" belt works - I am very interested to see if Polaris has truly fixed their problem.

Make sure you have all of the old belt out of the back pulley.Take the belt off, put the ranger in neutral, start it, give some gas and the back pulley will open up and spit out any left over belt material in it. Could also be a problem your getting bad belts. I ride in So Cal deserts in the sand dunes and haven't lost a belt yet in 150 plus hours, knock on wood...

Sounds like a typical motor mount problem, put one of the Falcon transmission mounts on it and forget it for awhile. The guys running in the desert seem to find the weak links first then it seems to filter down to the rest of us...LOL
