Yep turn the key on put it in low it clicks out in high it clicks back in now I do have a weak battery that I need to replace I have to jump it if I don't drive it everyday. Also it's 2011 polaris ranger Xp I bought new and I've got 19800 miles on it maybe she's just getting wore out
That's just a few miles......could be the battery defiantly a weird problem, and with most of those weird problems it's usually a ground, check to see if the shift cable is touching any wires.
If the battery is on it's way out, I'd replace that before bending over backwards to troubleshoot a possibly non-existent wiring issue. These machines will do weird (this type of) things with low voltage.
Not sure on hours I would have to look but no their has not been any rebuilds it still runs great but the front end diff is getting really sloppy on the output shafts but still working I love this machine . I bought it in late 2010 new as I was in a snowmobile wreck in early 2010 that left me paralized from the waist down so I bought this to get me back in the woods and I just love it
