I've got a 2015 Ranger 570 FS with the Polaris Lock N Ride doors. The doors are equipped with a rubber tether to keep them from swinging too far backwards when they are opened, and it works well on flat ground when the Ranger is level. The problem is that I live on some steep ground and it seems I'm always stopping on a slope somewhere with the front end facing uphill. When I open the door if I let it go, which is a habit I've picked up from driving cars and trucks, the door swings all the way back and hits the bed stretching the rubber tether to the max. So far no damage has occurred to either the bed or doors, however I'd like to be proactive and prevent such an occurrence. Anyone else found this to be a problem and found a solution? I'm looking for ideas beyond what I already have in mind (I'm not mentioning what that might be to prevent my ideas from influencing someone else's free thought) and if someone has come up with a good solution there's no sense in reinventing the wheel.
Thanks!
Steve
