So I took my Ranger out to a local trail for the first time since I purchased it. At the time it had about 15 miles on it. Anyways while riding the eps, and CEL lights both came on after driving about 4-5 miles. I think the EPS light came on first, followed by the CEL a couple seconds later. I stopped, and within a few seconds, both lights went out, and never returned. I put another 15-20 miles on it that day. I scrolled though the options, but never came across any stored codes. Not sure if the eps over heated. The EPS was still functioning even with the light on.

Anyone had similar issues? The ranger is still under factory warranty til the end of October if there is an issue.

Generally when the EPS light comes on the CEL will illuminate as well. Low battery voltage can cause this as well as a short lived heavy load on the EPS. What you've described seems to be common and as long as it's very intermittent I personally wouldn't worry about it.
