Im working with the original battery from the factory. I've noticed lately that its having a hard time starting unless i really push hard on the brake peddle. It will make a clicking sound if i don't put allot of pressure on the peddle when starting. 2 weeks ago i was using it to help rebuild target bail houses at my archery club. It was in the mid 80's and we were doing a lot of slow driving hauling materials short distances. It one point it would not restart and we had to jump start it. After that i was worried to shut it off so we left it run for about 3 hours just idling. By the end of the day it seamed like it was getting very hot in the engine bay causing a heat soak/ vapor lock issue. The engine temp never exceeded 210 and the fan was working fine. No mud in rad, hasn't seen mud in years. I had a hard time getting it load up on the trailer. It kept stalling.

Any thoughts??

I'd check your fuel pressure first Timothy, should be about 40 psi give or take a couple. buy or borrow a fuel pressure gauge and check fuel pressure on the rail under a load while driving.

the no start without excessive pressure onthe brake pedal could be just a bad brake switch. Think it's located on the master cylinder with a single wire running to it.
