Our snow depth is down to less than a foot (we only got about a foot & a half all season). Placed some licks out on the property, swapped the batteries in 1 of the trailcams & put up another.

Moose not deer droppings in the snow. We had a cow walk past 1 of the cameras in Jan'. The deer have vacated for more suitable cover, they should be back in a couple of weeks. They're quite active several miles down the highway.

Part 2 from today's ride.

The bridge is a 40' flatdeck trailer. The building in the last pic was built in the 50s by hunters that my grandparents rented to as a hunting camp. Since we purchased the property in '92 we've just used it as a shed.

I'm surprised the deer didn't hunker down in the pines. Looks like nice property to explore on the ranger.

They seem to have found a better wintering area. Over the years we've snowmobiled thru the property and there never is any deer sign. Last winter I came across a cow & calf moose while sledding. Our property adjoins Crown (public) Land so we're able to access the trails there as well.
