I ripped the nets that came on my 900 XP so I've been looking into some doors. I would be just as happy taking the nets off and leaving it go but the the wife likes some protection from branches and brush while we're trail riding and I figured it was an opportunity to buy some goodies and maybe stay warmer in the winter. I was just wondering if there was any possible way that the glass on the fixed window door would come out to make a sort of makeshift half door? There's no pictures good enough to tell how the glass is held in the door and I haven't been able to make it to the dealer.
I like the hinge and power windows but I feel like as rough as I am on my machine the glass would just be a liability on the trail. I've also looked at half doors and don't really wanna drop the cash for both half doors for trail riding and full doors for winter. The canvas doors look nice and sound tough according to other threads but I just have my doubts they'd make it through a hard weekend of trail riding. If anybody has some thoughts or opinions or experience on the fixed window doors it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I love my poly doors with movable windows. Check out eBay for some deals as I found a new set for $1200 delivered (not in the original packing) but everything was there.

Mtjag: Does it get warm in the cab if you leave the doors on in the summer?

SlimRockett: That's the only thing I have against the canvas, one bad hit from a stubborn stick might rip the canvas compared to scratching the poly.
