Mounted the rear bumper this AM and about to embark on a nice Kubota ride.

Anyway, one item I have really been anxious to mount as I think it will really add to the appearance is the extreme bed rack. I think it gives that Baja effect.
Guess what, no way without chopping the crap out of it will it mount up due to the RangerWare cab. Unless Polaris doesn't want me to I do intend to cut three of the tubes and make it fit. Arg !!!!!!!!!!!! It's no wonder some of these folks vent, it would REALLY tick me off to look through the Polaris wish book, dream how your ride will look, spend money/ wait for parts, unbox/ get all excited , get half way through the assembly process, and then it won't fit. More than arg, just shi$.

Maybe dealers have different books that warn when things interfere but I doubt it.

You would think somewhere in that collection of genuises that someone would think to drag a tape measure out!! I guess they have given the boot to the "old timers" like us Neal and now employ idiots with degrees!!!

Make sure and keep measurements so you can tell Polaris how to fix their crap!! I think this is a grand opportunity to earn some points with Polaris!!

That's too bad, Neal. BUT....there are two reasons I'm not disappointed about this. First, you're the perfect guy to make these two accessories play nice together.....and second, its yet another opportunity to show Polaris and our general membership that - without serious modifications - some P&A won't work together.

Sorry you have to do the extra work, but I'm excited to see what you come up with :)

OK, and thanks, sounds as though we are all on the same page.

Obviously, I will not expose their lack of understanding of their own product compatibility. Just wanted to mention the point that members could possibly say it in a negative tone.

That's okay though, IMO. As long as they do it in a constructive way. And our Moderators will make sure of that  .

Honestly (and to reiterate, I guess), I think this is a good thing. It shows Polaris that we're 'for real,' it will put Neal's talents 'on stage,' and its a great service to our general membership. Not to mention that it will also give Polaris ideas regarding a re-design of these accessories.

Neal....will you then have the parts powdercoated? I guess my question is regarding how you'll go about installing a finish on the rack once you're finished with the mods??
