I know you can mount a front end receiver on the Ranger, to use a multimount winch, but there are other things I would like a front receiver for too. The front end receiver kit seems to go in the same place behind the grill that the integrated winch would go.

Is it possible to have an integrated winch installed AND a front end receiver at the same time? In other words, any other way or place to mount a receiver on the front with an after market kit, etc.?

I really prefer the look and low profile of the integrated winch, but also want the functionality of the front end receiver.

Appreciate any input.

I've got the front reciever and will most likely add a multi-mount winch someday. I saw a winch mount that was below the normal place but everyone on here agreed it was to low and would probably drag. You could always mount the winch in its normal hidden spot and then a local welding shop fab up a reciever to be mounted just below---would probably stick out a little because of the radiator. I'm not aware of an aftermartket product such as that.

edit: The lower mounted winch was on ebay.

I really needed the front 2" receiver for several uses so no perm winch would work. I contacted Venom by email and they made me a pre-wired package for the Ranger with plug & wires for front & rear mount. It is their 4k Versa-Mount but they add front hook-up connectors. Shipped to my door was just under $270. Just another idea.
