Noticed the other day my ranger had some rusty water that kept coming out of the bumper. 15 ranger xp 900 Mine has the factory bumper that comes on it. Anyway there is a hole on both sides of the pipe where it comes up to meet up with the top pipe where it is welded. Funny how they put a hole on both sides but not one at the lowest point to let water out. Well needless to say mine has a new hole now in the bottom so the water will drain out. Least it hadn't froze and busted my bumper yet. Thought I would let anyone know about this before it rusted it in to or split it.

I too wondered the same thing, why holes on top and no drain. I drilled a hole on either side of my winch line.

I came across the same problem when I was installing my lift and a bunch if accesories , I had to take my bumper off. When I set it down I was shocked by how much water/rust came out. I told myself I was going to drill it out , but never did . Thanks for the reminder , I will be doing it tonight!
