[ranger2012]

I have a ranger mid size 500 2012 EFI. First I'm not sure what this part is called and can't find it in the parts list.
Its the rubber gasket around the shiftier. I took my ranger for a ride today and can't believe how much cold air comes in around the shiftier. Is there a way close this off. Maybe a new part or you guys are real smart when it comes to stuff like this. What are your thoughts any help would be great.

Tell ya what i did with mine, i had originally made a "whisker gasket" outta them door sweep things... worked great for about a year? then it ended up sucking..lol

so..i put factory rubber thingy back on, and took my shift knob off, THEN...i took a piece of black vinyl material and poked a hole dead center, installed it onto shifter, along with a tiny ziptie, and ziptied it to the shaft, then folded material down over it..kinda like a shifter boot?...then stuffed excess down into the hole. Sealed that sumbeach up real nice! no more air flow! Tadah
