Im about to get a new 15 Ranger XP 900 EPS Hunter edition. Does anyone here know if the gun scabbards are easily removed when not using them? Im also getting this with a ProBox Top and a windshield. does anyone have any advice on the top or windshield choices?

Howdy, and welcome. I have the pro fit lock & ride premium steel roof and just got the lock & ride full tilting glass windshield. So far both work great, no problems. You can see my post on the last page here, as well as get other ideas from a lot of different members:

I see you handle is Shinner... Happen to live in the Shiner area? Only ask b/c if you haven't already bought it, and you do live in Texas, I'd call Polaris Fun Center in Bryan, TX and get a quote. I called at least a dozen Polaris dealers when I was looking to buy, and they beat everyone's price by $800+ Also, if you buy from them, any accessories you buy at the time of purchase, they will install for free.

Welcome to PRC!! Post some pics when you get it.

As far as the accessories you can't go wrong with the Polaris brand windshields.

Gun scabbards are real easy to remove. I have a set from my 2010 browning edition. My top is the Polaris sport roof (plastic?) and I have the lock and ride Polaris fixed front windshield.
You'll love that new Ranger

Thanks alot! I will definitely post pics when I pick it up. I went ahead and ordered the pro fit tip out glass windshield for it. I think it will serve its purpose and not get scratched up.

I wont be home from work for another 3 weeks! Its going to be a long wait for it. Im not close to Shiner by the way. I live in Tyler.

Sweet. You will enjoy that machine. You will also find out you need the rear glass if you run with the front glass closed or you will suck dust, grass and everything else in the cab in short order.

Nice rig Shiner10. You will enjoy it. Let me know if you have a problem with the windshield hitting your light bar once in the full open position. I have been wanting to put a 50" curved light bar on mine, but hesitant because I think the windshield will hit the light bar.

I was thinking that. Probably just going to get the poly back windshield. I think that would be fine for me.
There is a $50 difference ( list price) between the glass and poly rear window, purchase the glass, you will be glad you did in the long run.

Where are you located? A friend of mine has a brand new in the box Polaris tip out glass windshield for sale. He lives out of state but will be in town in 2 weeks (6/11-6/13). I think they retail for over $800 and he was asking $500, so it would be a good deal if that's what you're looking for and you don't live too far away.

Wow, that's what he told me but I thought he was exaggerating......lol. After looking it up, I was shocked to find that you're right. So that's a SMOKIN' deal for somebody and it's still available if anyone wants it. Right now it is in Wisconsin, but he'll be in east TN on 6/11 through 6/13 and can bring it here.......or meet somebody somewhere in between for delivery.

The windshield does not hit the light at all! Not really even close!
