Hi guys - I just bought a set of used tracks for my Ranger. They are "Giant" brand. I was told that they were bought out by Camoplast. The PO gave me some photocopied/printed manuals that show the installation, but the photos are really too dark to see anything clearly. Does anyone have manuals for these or can point where I can find them?
Thanks!

Apparently Camoplast bought them out. I sent them an e-mail requesting some literature. They still stock parts as well!

Not the greatest pics (it's been wicked cold here lately and I'm not too motivated to get out in the barn after work!) but here you go:
These are the 3 that are ok:

And this is the one that I am repairing:

I would get advice from someone who can give you an honest evaluation. The correct track system on your machine, designed for your machine, will provide you with a tremendous amount of satisfaction, but the wrong set will cause nothing but unnecessary costs and aggravation. .. Bill

Thanks for the input Bill. What specifically is wrong with the tracks? Why do you feel they would ruin my transmission?
My plan is to use them in my hay field to ferry kids back up the hill from sliding. Other than that I'd like to be able to take it through my woods roads to collect sap from the sugar bush.
Thanks for any and all help!

Richard...A buddy of mine purchased a set of these a number of years ago and we mounted them to an atv. We realized very quickly that these were not what he was looking for. I would recommend that you give Gary or Kevin a call at 1-866-243-8359, and ask if they would mind answering a question or two.... These guys run atv.net and are the best in the business. They have a wealth of knowledge regarding all track systems and their applications and have been very kind in answering questions I have had in the past....These guys use to sell the Giants and I am certain they could help you......... Best of luck! Bill

Thanks I'll do that. What specifically did your buddy not like about them? What were his expectations/riding habits and intended use?

You want to confirm that you have the correct drive sprocket size for your machine. This is where gearing issues come into play and can be potentially concerning for your transmission. I believe that Gary or Kevin could provide you with a quick accurate assessment.. I hope that these work out well for what you intend to use them for......Unfortunatly for me, once you hit send on a post its gone!...I should have offered you the resources to contact, and skipped sharing my thoughts.... I apologize if my comments were harsh, as I feel that I offered an opinion that would have been best kept to myself.... Bill
