Driving 2.5 hours tomorrow to purchase a 2014 900 LE White Lightening. It has 800 miles.

Any common issues I should look for?

Ryan, My 2013 900 has been very much trouble free with 400 use. The only thing I had taken care of was a EPS sensor issue. You might ask about that as that issue was still going on in 2014 and even some early 2015 models. I would like to see any service records that might be available. 900 has been a very good machine

The only problem I have with my 13 is that I don't ride it enough!

I think looking over the unit carefully for general wear and use gives you a reasonably good picture of the units life. If the unit is set up for deep water, etc., then it will be your call on whether those modifications matter or not, but I would want to know that before driving 2.5 hours.

Take a close look at any welded joints on the cage, cracked paint will indicate it's been rolled.

Rick, Have to tell you they do look good on your machine:fat:. I just wish they would done what the Ricochet Rockers did for me covering up that open area the skid plate doesn't.

W/that many unknown miles, I'd go ahead and change the belt. I hear OE is best
