I just got a 2023 northstar ordered a few days ago. It is coming with 27” tires stock. I’ve been looking at the maxxis carnivores. I’d like to put either 29 or 30 inch tires on it. I want a good ride. Will be on pavement and dirt road, and two track mostly. No aggressive mud riding really. This is my first Ranger. Will be using it for hunting, and well groomed trails, in town. Nothing too crazy. Basically I want the biggest tire I can put on it, without putting a lift. And I want a good ride. I don’t mind spending a little more money for a better ride. Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks.

My 30 carnivores rubbed. You'd want to run a 28or 29. Id chose the rampage over the carnivores for your uses. The tusk Terrabites run a tad small and 30's would fit your machine. Terrabites are a good tire and recieve excellent reviews.

That sounds good. I’m liking the Terrabites. It’s supposed to be here at the end of March. So plenty of time to get them ordered and waiting. When it gets here and I put them on I’ll post a picture on here. I appreciate the quick responses!!

They are 28 and 29's with no lift and no rub issues .

I’m also thinking I’m going to tint the windows right away. Is 20% about right? Also, thinking about a light bar across the top. Any suggestions on brands?

I tinted my back window and hated it......All kinds of reflections off it in the rear view.......I ripped it off .

My windshield fixed so I mounted my bar low......Keeps the branches from grabbing it .

I have 2022 northstar ultimate … 2 inch lift 30x10R15 Bfg KM3 on fuel wheels..love the ride and have only very slight rub backing up and turning to the right . My buddy still has his stock 29 on his northstar and he tells me the ride in mine is much better

I have a 2022 Ranger Full Size Crew. I just put on a set of Tusk Terrabite's on yesterday . I plan on trying them out this weekend.

I had terrabites on my 2019 xp900 and liked not having the road noise. Harder compound tire than the stocks so a little stiffer ride. My 2022 Northstar still has stocks, and I can’t wait till I wear them out!
