Yes...I got the call today to bring the unit back in to be checked out, but before that my wife and I had a chance to have a little fun anyways. We were at our land in the U.P. today, and although its been tinder dry, we still were able to find a little mud.

Ahhhh…….. now that’s the kind of pictures I’ve been waiting to see. With a smiling owner behind the wheel. I’m sure it will be back in the mud before long. Looking forward to all the real world reviews!

Yes, it is a blast!! And YES...Sue loves it too! (that's important). I only opened it up once and for a short time, but we hit 57 MPH on a gravel road and it felt like it might have a touch more where that came from.

Two things that came immediately into play during this short -- but fun-filled -- ride that Sue and I took: 1)The narrowness of this unit became very evident and practical. Our property is heavily wooded and we often like to go 'off-trial' to discover new places, etc. The RZR really gives you that feel of an ATV in this regard because it fits into places we cannot go with the standard Ranger. 2) Ground Clearance. Because we have NetHawk's famous 2" ProLift on the Ranger, we clear things that the RZR won't (yet, anyways[;)]). We did a ton of skid plate hitting on stumps, rocks, etc. Don't get me wrong; the clearance is adequate for most riding, and we only once got hung up, but a touch more clearance for some types of riding might be nice. Incidently, this brings up another nice feature of this unit -- its very light. When we did get hung up, it was easy for us to literally 'lift' the unit enough so that we could regain traction (a winch in many cases also would have saved the day).

How was it on side hills? How well did you and your wife fit in it? (did you tend to bump shoulder while riding) Nice Picture.

Bill,

The RZR does great on side hills, steep down hills and has plenty of room in the cockpit. After our trip to Minnesota, I don't have any qualms about recommending one. Check out the pictures we posted. There is one of Freddy and Gary sitting side by side in the RZR with no problems at all and they are two big youngins'!!! The center of gravity is a lot lower than a Ranger. Polaris had us a nice variety to ride these in.

Great pitures Randy! In the second to last piture the front tires look to be angled in at the top(like you are landing from a jump). Is that just an illusion, or is that part of the problem?

Trevor, that's an interesting observation you've made. NO, I was not landing from a jump. In fact, I was going thru that water hole fairly slow. I agree with you that the wheels look canted a little.

Bob,

Bruce's assessment is right on. It side hills great and Sue and I fit just fine. I think that if we drove real aggressively over undulated terrain, we might run the risk of banging heads, but that's what helmets are for, right?

<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"> Ya, they do look canted, but I think it is an illusion caused by the shadows. Try looking at the wheels and imagine them fully lit in daylight. See what you think.
