2012 ranger 800 crew hard to start after it has been running. It is not running hot stay around 190 to 200 degrees. seem like it is not getting gas but will eventually start and very sluggish but smooths out. cranks and runs fine when cold or after it has sat for a while 30 mins or so. If fuel pump what after market pump would work Polaris pump is expensive.

only way to tell for sure is to verify the fuel pressure. should be 40 psi give or take 1 psi. Usually when the fuel pressure starts to drop off, a vapor lock situation develops when you shut the machine down hot and try and re-start.

Unfortunately, no one has come forward with an aftermarket replacement pump for the 2011 and newer machines..... yet. You'll be stuck with the polaris drop in pump. They're about $200 as I remember, a far cry better than the $400 they were asking when they would only sell the fuel pump with a complete fuel tank. !
