I got some free aluminum the other day and really wanna make some mud blockers, but I've read a few write ups that made the machines run hotter. Has anyone tried venting their blockers? I've kinda got a plan, but looking for more ideas. Also need time to get it done!

Thunderhawk makes a kit that vents upto the bed...but i still feel that blocking em all in is gonna make more UN-neccesary heat.. Almost need a Fan pulling cooler air in..

imo more mud blockers the harder it is to wash it but I detail mine after every ride
