The wife wanted new matching helmets so we can ride at some of the public riding areas. I searched all over looking at different brands and came across these. They are left over new 2013 models for $39. I got three helmets and three Scott goggles for $200 shipped to my door. They are very comparable to any of the $100-120 helmets I was looking at the polaris dealership.
I've been wearing a ZOX Fiction MX style helmet for a couple of years now. Before that I had always worn HJC. When I shopping for the last helmet, I didn't like the HJC graphics & went w/ the ZOX.
There is no such thing as a motorcycle helmet that is the safest helmet because the safety and protection of your head is so important and can never be guaranteed. The best advice I can give is to stay safe and use the helmet that fits you best and that you feel comfortable with. This will help you avoid accidents and head injuries.
