I just bought this rack and need to know others have mounted it. I have the Polaris Sport roof. Please advice and pics would be great. Thanks!!

LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT GOTTEN THE WRONG MOUNT FOR THE ROOF UNLESS YOUR PLANNING ON USING SOME SILICONE.

I read a bunch about this one and ordered the same part number as others. Even read a review on Amazon about its perfect for a 2015 Ranger 900. Not really wanting to drill through the roof though.

I have that same Gun Rack and I did put two small holes in the roof for the rear mount. No problems at all. Sealed up well no leaks. Another friend bought same rack and extended the rear attaching area to the back roll bar.

Just put the same one on last weekend and I have the sport roof with headliner. Basically, rack to where the front two holes line up on the center of the front metal cross beam leadge. Once those two holes are mounted there will be a natural template to drill the rear two holes. I used a slightly smaller drill bit so I had to screw the factory hardware in. I figure this and silicone will provide a better seal. For the rear holes I used the factory silver screws and the front I used my own hardware. It's solid as a rock and have zero worries about it leaking.

Take 2 pieces of 1" x 1/4 flat stock ( forgot the length), attach them to the ledges on the front and back of the rollcage cross bars.
Drill and tap holes in flat stock, mount gun rack. No holes in roof.
Note: may not work depending on your height.

I have mine mocked up, but not finished, no pics.

So finished my mount for the rack. Bought 2" steel flat bar cut to length for cross members. Just painted the bare steel gloss black, waiting for it to dry. Here's it mocked up, final form.
