Ok, first, talked to my dealer this morning, RZR is shipping tomorrow. should have in my hands by next Friday!!!!

Had some 12" wheels on order. They are the same as shown on the red
RZR on the website, was gonna use the stock tires. Was costing me
$ 320 mounted. Now they are telling me they are out of stock. They
can get the 14" wheel and tires but it's $ 899.00!!!

Are there better deals out there? Any suggestions? Ideas? I need
something I can get my hands on pretty quick. I refuse to take delivery with the ugly wheels on it!! :)

Get hold of Matt at ATVOutfitters for pricing. The bolt pattern is 4/156, like on the Ranger, so you have a lot to choose from. Matt also has adapters to use 4/110 wheels. He is a super guy to work with and has the cheapest prices around.

tires will depend on what kind of riding you'll be doing. wheels pretty much come down to personal tastes. i've been riding itp terracrosses on my ranger xp for the last 4 months and can't say enough good about them. there was an auction running on ebay with itp type 7's with 26" terracrosses for $650. looked like they had 4 or 5 sets last i looked with free shipping. was a dealer in wv if i remember correctly.

Talked with my dealer today and he said they are in the process of finding another supplier for tires. I'm not sure if they are also looking for wheels too but he said they would not be available until sometime in June. I assume he was talking about the 14" since that's what I wanted.

Go to Jagged X website. They have 14" Kendra's for the RZR. Black spoked rims. They look nice. Also, the "loaded" RZR Polaris uses for advertisements has 14" Bounty Hunters on it.

I was going to use the stock wheels around home, gravel roads and such. I found a cheap set of 28" Outlaw tires 28x9.5x12 and 28x12.5x12 with the polaris bolt pattern on the rims. Does anyone know if the tires would fit, without any type of lift kit? Any one ran the Outlaw Tires?

#1 reason I'm buying a Rzr is the 50" width so I can ride the atv trails legally. (something I can't do with my Ridge Runner)
The website, brochure (and everywhere else) show a variety of wheels and tires...but which ones will maintain the 50" width? I don't want to spend nearly $1000 only to find I'm again over the legal limit. I'm surprised the website and brochure don't address this. Any ideas anyone??

My experience is that all the aftermarket wheels (and even some of the accessory OEM ones) will have more offset and widen the track. Now if the overall width is based on the chassis and not the wheels and tires (meaning the fenders or frame stick out past the factory wheels and tires) you might be able to add some wheels and tires and not exceed the 50 inches, but honestly, I have accepted that my RZR will likely be wider than 50 inches. My Rhino was close to 60 though with the wheel/tire set up I normally used, so I still anticipate a big improvement in width.

Bighorns seem to be finding their way onto plenty of Rhinos with almost unanimous good reviews. The Highlifter MST is also well reviewed, but hard to get. ITP Terracross should also be on your list if you're considering 14" rims. The Bighorns and Terracross have the benefit of being non-directional so you can turn them around to get some fresh edges on the lugs. Sort of. ;-)

According to some of the press release videos and I thought the brochure as well, the wheel/tire setup they show on the green hunter model, the 12 inch ones, maintain the 50 inch width.

It's not in the brochure I have. Do you mean the 12" aluminum rims (Vision?)?

They are 12" Aluminum, I don't know if they are Vision or not. Check out the Polaris website, click on the RZR picture and look at the hunter model. It is also in one of the videos that had Jan Rintanmaki in it where he was going over the RZR out in the desert. The 12" set of aluminum wheels they offer will maintain the 50" size.

I can only find one pic of the hunter with the Polaris aluminum wheels. There's no information. Where did you find your info? Polaris hasn't responded to my email (no surprise from what I've been reading).
What's the offset on the 12" aluminum? Rim width front & rear? Are the tires shown in that one picture same as stock or larger? Won't the 14x7 Polaris rim end up the same overall width as a 12x7 for example?
