I know these are protected in Michigan.
They remind of snowshoe rabbbits except these don't turn brown in spring !!


The email I recieved said they were in Michigan just north of Wisconsin.

I think I saw those on Animal Planet ....or one of the outdoor stations. Cool! Definitely a rarity!
