High idle problem

Hey guys it's been a long while since I posted.
I recently serviced my 2012 ranger 800 crew.
I drove it around the yard picking up limbs. Probly used it for 45 min. It ran fine. Went to take the wife and kid on a ride and the throttle stuck at almost wide open. I trailered it home and. Got to researching what could be wrong.
started with the throttle cable.I replaced it. I cut the zip ties on all the harnesses. Taped the bare spots in the wires. just the jacket was wore not the wire.
replaced the iac valve. Replaced the throttle position sensor. Started it up. It didn't want to idle at all at first. Then idled fine. I reved it up and it idled back down. Reved it up some
More and it stuck at that idle and wouldn't come back down. Thoughts? Ideas?

Blue, you need to replace the IAC harness and probably the TMAP & TPS harness after that .
Some symptoms of a bad Idle air control motor wiring harness are engine will not stay idling, idle will be too high or to low. Engine will die when letting off the gas.

Make sure the connector matches up. 2012 800's were famous for bad sensor harness's. Change them all and then forget about it. Idle Air Control Motor Wiring Repair Harness
"I noticed the TPS sensor is able to turn clockwise or counter clockwise a 1/8 of a turn both ways. Is this something to worry about? "

Yes, it should not move.... How about that harness Ditch ?
