Just swapped a replacement Kohler motor into my Ranger. I have the throttle screw backed out all the way....and the throttle cable is not holding it.....the throttle level is resting on the stop.....but the dash says 1700 RPM's at idle. Not sure how to adjust it any lower.

2018 Ranger....put in a 2015 motor but swapped the oil pans due to the pickup issues with the 2015. And yes it is the diesel."Just swapped a replacement Kohler motor into my Ranger. "
