Thanks Bill, all I had to do is not mess up a good design and good hardware!
Duplicolor Bed liner is a perfect match for the factory fininsh (more good info from PRC) and I used flat black enamel on the hinges since the bedliner is pretty thick. I just need to find some small plugs for the holes and I'll be 100%.
