i have only one hundred and forty miles on mine, all in low gear. unlike others i have had absolutely no problems. the rzr shifts fine ,no meshing of gears, runs smooth, stops great and i can ride it where i would not ride my quads , and where my 6x6 wont fit. i brought out two other biologist and three hounds for about eight miles, the rzr never skipped a beat. i know the weight police will be after me, but around here everthing works for a living and that includes the rzr.

I don't want to jinx myself but i drove in the Sierra mountains about 8 hrs and 100 miles today. Everything from extreme low range 4wheel drive rock crawling to 40+ mph on the fire roads. I must say I am in awe of this machine. The comfort, and nimbleness are amazing. I'm used to the throttle now and kinda like it. My RZR performed flawlessly today and turned a lot of heads on the trails. I must say that the only flaws I see are no parking brake and it's a little loud, although I'm starting to really like the exhaust note too. I loved my Rhino but needed EFI.and now I am a very happy camper. I'm 50 years old and found myself giggling like a little kid all day. This thing is the most fun I have had since I rode Police motorcycles for a living.

Do you think the RZR is louder than your Rhino was? To me they seem similar when my 04 did not have the 05-07 intake design installed, and certainly quieter from the cab once that mod was performed. I am interested to see what you think, since it has been a few months since I was in the Rhino and my mind could be playing tricks on me.

You know Matt, it seems a little louder but a different kind of loud. Maybe performance loud and not squeak and rattle loud.

Give it time, I am sure the RZR will squeak and rattle after a good number of trail miles like everything else![;)]

No Problems, 15 hours and over 150 miles. We had the seat belt recoil down under some thick mud (it would not drain out the floor drain with out moving muck out of the drains several times). No problems with the recoils the rest of 2 days, just pulled out and hosed off when I go home. WE LOVE IT!

Is there something you can buy to make the RZR quieter?
thanks.

There are ways to make anything quieter, but is it worth the time and effort?

While watching the gentleman's video of jumping his RZR I could hear the clutch backshifting upon landing. This is the sound me and my buddies herd before both of our belts discentegrated.... just like his photos in the broken belt post.

If you air it out, stay on the gas.
