Is anyone aware of there's an HVAC upgrade for the XP1K Crew NS Ultimate?
Was trailriding the other day when it was over 100 degrees & the a/c didn't really cool too much. I felt cool air blowing but not cold, which would be nice.

Tinting the windows helps quite a bit. I had my back window tinted dark, sides medium with a 7" dark brow across the top of the windshield. Also built some sheet metal diverters to blow cold air from the defrost vents back on to me and passenger. Together it made quite a difference.

It would be interesting to sit in a new Northstar with the improved hvac. Is it really better? Or just hype.
It would also be cool if it was merely a compressor change to get the extra cooling.
I don't know if the guys here even have a Northstar to know the NS hvac performance. Mostly mocking.
The sharp guys have left the building.
A good parts counter guy, and comparing the exploded drawings might find the answer. How much change is there?
My NS will need service this spring - I'll see if my decent Polaris shop has any inkling. Some shops are sharper than others...
I know my a/c is on the weak side. I park in the shade when I can to give it help.
But the heater kicks ass!
