To lighten things up, I thought I would share the following post and, for those of you holding your breath, there is no lift kit required LOL:

Ingredients:
2 pounds ground round
1 tablespoon of Mexine
1 teaspoon of garlic Powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 tablespoon of sea or kosher salt
1 teaspoon of COURSE ground pepper
2 tablespoons of worcestershire
1 tablespoon of A1 or A1 bold and spicy
one small onion finely diced
10 pieces of crispy bacon, crushed.
1 slice of your favorite cheese

(optional ingredients include jalapeno, diced chili peppers, bourbon) If using bourbon, 1 teaspoon is plenty to add the taste.

Mix ingredients together, GENTLY form patties. Cook on very high heat for 2 minutes and flip. Cook two more minutes on VERY high heat and flip to original side. lower Grill Temp to 350 and cook approximately 5 to 7 minutes per side adding cheese approximately 2 minutes before removing.

Note: For great buns, leave buns in plastic bun bag and microwave buns briefly in microwave to soften them (trust me on this). An entire package of buns is about 20 to 30 seconds. Remove from icrowave and place hamberger buns on a piece of foil. Fold edges up but do not seal. Place buns on top rack above cooking burgers for 5 minutes so they can soak in smoke flavor then remove and place face down on grill for 30 to 60 seconds.

Enjoy. James

Sounds delicious and I'm on my way over but this is an unusual place to post this.
That does sound great, I was on the sister site just to post about the bacon wrapped potatoes and vadalia onions. Just a thought if there was a food section here I wouldn't have to wonder. and I will try these burgers.
How about the Turtle Burger?

Handmade ground beef patties, topped with sharp cheddar cheese, wrapped in a bacon weave.

Next step, add hotdogs as the heads, legs and tail.

Place on an oven rack, covered loosely with foil and baked for 20-30 minutes at 400 degrees.

A little crispy, not too crunchy…just how a turtle should be, no?

You guys are making me hungry. You really need to go over to Side x Side world and post this stuff in the food section. We could use the activity and these are tasty ways to help us 8)
Now THIS is the type of thread I like to be part of!!!! The turtle burgers look like they are the bomb and I will definitely check out the other forum!!! More recipes to come.
The recipes are great....SideXSide world has an awesome section on outdoor cooking. Please visit the PRC sister site and post the recipes over there.

Looks Great :)
Bobby,

Showed my wife the turtle burgers - she loved the idea. Guess what we are cooking this weekend? They look great! Thanks for sharing. :D
