I'm looking for tech info about various aftermarket gauges that can be installed on the Ranger 500. I remember seeing a thread about this here before (I think) but I can't find it now. Tried Search but to no avail.

I also want the locations of ports on the motor that would serve various gauges (tach, oil pressure, water temp, etc). Any info (and even pics) or reference to it would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Matt

Thanks, that helps... I wish I could remember one particular thread where someone made a 3-gauge bezel mounted under the shift lever... Can't find that one now.

A couple more questions:

- Can anyone tell me the best place to hook up an oil pressure gauge on a 500?

- Also, it seems my thermostat housing has a plug on the corner of the cover, similar to what would come with the gauge kit mentioned above. Is that similar to what I would get with the modified housing, or is it for something else?

I have a 2005 Ranger 500.

Thanks, Matt
