So I just snorkeled my 2011 800xp with the kit from snorkel your Atv (I know I could build one myself cheaper but with 2 kids i have no time to make several trips to hardware store) I also added a new homebuilt roof with marine stero and the 2" lift kit from EMP....we just had first ride and im very pleased with the results snorkels work mint and lift should have been done as soon as I bought the machine....

My question is how big of a tire can I run now? My 26" zillas look like skateboard wheels ....I think im gonna stick to zillas because they are so light and they work great for me....planing on going up to 28" zillas if they will fit

Thanks
Rob

I know 'one is not to judge'....but if "I" had wear waders to go riding...I wouldn't go riding...I'd go fishing. But that's just me.

I would rather be fishing than riding. But it looks like Rob found a way to do both at the same time. Does low gear work good for trolling? :)

To answer your tire question........a TRUE 28" tire will rub without a lift or forward A-arms. You can clear 27" with no lift, maybe 27.5" if you crank the shocks up.

Low gear for trolling isnt that great....my next mod will be an outboard motor mount that will lock into receiver hitch..lol i didnt even think about the seat until my passenger got out of the seat and it floated away i was sitting on the storage bin

The waders were only worn because all the water was frozen only a week or so before .....and there were some spots with snow and ice still

The bike was actually floating in that pic thats why buddy is in the back trying to put rear wheels to the bottom...

I dont usually ride that deep but had to test out the snorkels.....they work

And thanks commanderjjones for the answer i dont think my 26s measure 26"tall so the 28s should run with the lift

I agree with Jerry on the sizes. 28" Zillas should clear, I have read that they run a little short.

It looks like we ride our Rangers the same way, lol.

Why not just get arched fwd arms and 30s? It looks like thats the type of riding you do.

Truthfully I dont ride my machine that much we do a spring ride and the rest of my riding is for hunting and fishing with the odd trip to the store and back.....but when I ride it i want to be able to drive it where I want to go i like the look of 30s but dont wanna break axles and stuff....I guess a arms and 30s will be the next step if I go there, or go all the way and do a big 6 or 8 inch lift with all new A arms and axles
