LE vs. Deluxe

Going to buy another ranger in a couple of months to make a trail/mud rig. Recently saw a few deluxe editions in person and thinking that may be the way to go over a Le model. The deluxe already has half doors, bucket style seats with a center console, and integrated gps, Bluetooth screen in the dash. Seems like for the $2000 dollar difference you get a lot more with the deluxe. Also has anyone else noticed the price increase on the Polaris website? Rangers went up $100 in the past few days.

Hey
It's your ride ,I lik'em all LOL
But ,the Deluxe has a lot of upgrades you will most likely want,I think Snorkeling would be easier with Bucket seats, once you start modifying it want look like either for long ,except for the bucket seats.

Either way best of luck.

It's cheaper to get the nicer unit up front vs. the cheaper one first and then deciding to upgrade, been there done that :(
Super size it spend the extra 2 k.
I personally think it's all about resale, you will never recoup the different you pay between the two when selling used. Condition of the vehicle is number one in selling used, yes you could say that power steering could be a factor, but when the buyer drives and very nice used standard model they will be looking at condition and since they drive very well without PS, they buy it. This is only my view on the $2000 difference between models, I'm sure each buyer looks at it differently.

Don't forget the Bucket seats,,,in that Machine.

,,These bench seats could definitely use improving.
One other though that occurred to me... how would the new dash electronics do if you went deep (above the dash)? Probably not an issue for normal mud but if you submarine it, would all that stuff hold up to water?
Think I've made up my mind to go with the deluxe. For a trail/mud rig i like that it has the bucket seats and center console. I like the factory doors even though they have the big gaps in them, shouldn't be to hard to fix that issue though. I don't really need the gps screen on the dash but it does show how fast you're going, gas gauge, has Bluetooth for your phone, etc... and on a 5" lift with 31" or 32" tires won't have to worry about getting it deep enough to submerge the dash. I wish it came with a winch but oh well. As far as resale value i don't plan on selling it, my 2014 browning edition 900 has 600 miles on it but still looks brand new and i know i could sell it for more than i payed for it. Now i guess ill just have to wait till the 16's come out so i can get a good deal on one.

I'm with Fuse on this, I love my Deluxe. I have no complaints with the half doors. I did the same as far as I have the full doors for winter and will put the half doors on for summer.
