just installed a Denalli 72" plow on my Ranger. I read about magnetic switches that will kill power to the "in" side of the winch control. But what have you guys installed to stop the plow from coming too high?

No one? I am sure someone has made one or bought a kit and installed. I see the kits for $70 but think I can make one with a magnetic switch.

I don't have one on mine. I guess for safety reasons it is a good thing if for some reason the winch gets stuck on, but for normal use it seems unlikely to need one.

I thought most installed something for ensuring they do not over tighten the winch while plowing. You can bend the push tube and/or snap the winch cable.
