Hi , all looking at lifts for 2014 xp 900 LE, don't want a big lift as I don't want to get into axle problems. Thinking about 2 - 2 1/2" ,and wondering which type are best. Prolift and marshall mount on the A arm at the bottom of the shock and EMP and others hook to the top shock bracket . What are the pros and cons on both styles ? Which type is highest quality ?

Not sure about the best one, guess that might be preference. I have the super atv 3" lift. No problems and running stock axles and a-arms.

I just installed a 2.5 Marshall Motoart lift on my full size 800. Still running stock arms and axles. I put on 28" Zillas also. In am very pleased with the lift so far and I have had no issues with it.

Thanks for all the information , but what I am really trying to figure out are there advantages of a bottom mount over a top mount lift or advantages of a top mount over the bottom mount , or is it strictly preference ?

It's just personal prefference. Neither lift is better
