Hello all, I have viewed for some time now but this is my first post. Thanks in advanced for all the suggestions.

I bought the Polaris Lock N Ride Full Glass windshield, NOT a tip out. I installed it and loaded the Ranger on the trailer and headed south to TN. When I pulled it off the trailer the windshield had cracked. No evidence of any rocks or anything hitting it. It looks like the cracked started in the area of the Metal dowel that goes into the dash. My question is, will the Polaris dealer stand behind the product? I have receipts and pics of it as soon as I saw it. I am trying to prepare myself before I head to the dealer with it this afternoon. Thanks Again!!!

Your warranty is good for 1 year from purchase date.
Polaris will replace it.

Jmo, I would use the credit and upgrade to the tipout, you will be glad you did.

Was it the pro fit or the fixed one you can add the wiper to? Picking mine up on the morning and going to get the glass with it.

Hello guys! It was the Pro fit. Four lock N ride handles with 2 metal dowels that fit into the holes. I took the windshield back to the dealer and they gave me another one. I had to give them the pics of when I took it off the trailer. I have since tried to put the new glass in and it does not seal properly in the lower passenger corner.....I am taking the machine and windshield to the dealer for advice. I bought my ranger used with 182 miles on it. It looked brand new and the guy told me "it has never seen mud or been wrecked!" he had had it for almost a year. Only scratches were in the bed....is it possible my roll cage and frame are twisted????

Man you think if that were the case there would be more evidence of damage somewhere on it. My dealer told me the ones the have had the most trouble with was the one that takes the wiper that bolts in at the top.
