What methods have you used to lock your bed down to carry rear passengers???/

I have seen people wire them down.

I have a mechanical screw motor driven bed lift and it holds the bed down rock solid. It also keeps the bed firmer than the OEM latch system.

Bailing wire. It can also be used as a hose clamp or anything else you can dream of it you break down.

I've not done it but I have seen other mention the use of a ratchet strap.

I have seen a lock&ride pin with a 1/4 inch piece of flat bar on top that engages the cage/backrest support.
