I have a 2005 Ranger XP and bought cast wheels for it but noticed the wheel studs on the rear axle only stick out 5/8". With the casting on the new wheels this does not let the lug nuts thread on but about 3/16". The front studs sick out 3/4" since the axle flange is steel vs. cast on the rear, this will let the lug nuts thread on about 5/16". Not enough in my opinion. The original steel wheels allow 1/2" threads on the rear axle. Has anybody changed the studs on their axle flanges? Thanks, Jerry

they wheel studs are 3/8-24, available from polaris in two different lenghts, short and long, sounds like you need the long ones. real easy to change out, they will normall knock out very easy, a press is the best way to put the new ones back in, you may also find them at a mower shop or local napa.

I tapped one out to bring to the Dealer with me. I looked up the Polaris part # and noticed the LE models have longer studs. Jerry

I've got some I need to get rid of if you want them. I bought some for the front of mine, and figured out I didn't need them.

Chris, The studs I have are 1 1/4" total length and I need 1 1/2". My front ones are ok since the hub is steel vs alum. If you have 8 pc. I'll take them. email [email protected] Thanks, Jerry

I've definitely got them, but they're still out at Bikeman Performance with the Ranger. I just emailed Dale, and all I would ask is to pay whatever I paid for them at the dealer, and I'll take care of the shipping. Is that fair?
