Looking for a more durable tire

I'm searching for some new tires......I do a lot of riding around on the street and they just seem to eat up my MotoGrip tires. I have been looking at possibly putting on some Super Swamper TSL's. I have a 14" wheel and there isn't a whole lot of options for that size. Does anybody know if they will rub on a stock Crew? I really don't want to put any kind of lift on it if it could be avoided.

Are there any other options for a similar tire that I'm not looking at. I don't ride through much mud, mainly on the beach, and on asphalt getting there. Thanks for any and all suggestions!!

For your application I would suggest the GBC Kanati Mongrel Radial for no lift get 26" but I would at least do a 2" lift or just forward a-arms and 28". They will do better in the sand than a Super Swamper and ride and wear good on pavement.

Would I just need the a arms for the front, or the back as well if I went the 28" route?
+1 on the Mongrel for road and sand. If you have a Costco nearby their price is very good.
Since there's no aggressive shoulder lug on these, I'm pretty sure the 28's would clear with just a minor (2") lift.
Just the front. You may get by with just moving the shocks to the outer hole.

are the Mongrel's reasonable for the mud? I do go through the mud on occasion, but if I can I try to go around.....I just don't like to clean it!

Probably not as good as your Motogrips in the mud.
You might try Roctanes. They are an 8 ply tire. The rocks around here are pretty tough on tires and I've had good luck with the Roctanes thus far. They'll fare better in the mud than the Mongrels will.
We have a lot of good luck with the Maxxis Bighorn's. They have wore great on our machines and we do a lot of pavment and gravel riding. Plus the all tires are on sale right now with free shipping at Side X Side Visions, We put the fun in your ride!.
