Recently installed 26” Mud Lite XTR’s on my factory chrome. My old normal top speed was 41 mph(45 down slight hill). The XTR’s are taller than the original 26”, now my normal top speed is ~36. It seams more sluggish as it gets near the topend.
Anyone been thru this?[?]

my hpx gained speed in the top end with bigger tires . now you should loose some bottom end power but as for sppeed you should gain a few mph's i would check out the belt or something. but you should get a few more mph's out of them tires.

Tommyhpx, whats an hpx? The 500's need a little more help to pull the big tires. There are things available to help that.

Ah, green machine. Thanks Rob. Nowhere to go but up in speed. I have seen some XP's lose top speed with bigger tires, and some gain speed.
