Here are the pictures I promised. It was a great run. Mid teens (that’s low 60’s for you southerners) and sun, and of course lots of MUD. But the best part, pictures of my brother-in-law’s brand new 2007 “sport edition 660 Rhino “ stuck, wheel deep in a hole I had just driven thru. The ruts were pretty deep in areas since this was the 3rd rally in as many weeks on some of the trails. So with ruts 2-3’ deep, around 50” wide, it made for very interesting areas. But the ranger bulled its way thru and left more then one ATV rider with their jaw hanging open trying to figure out how I made it thru. (To be honest, there were a few times I was wondering myself).
here we are , nice and clean, and still some coffee, that didn't last long
My wife and I, She realy does hate that helmet []
My brother-in-law Rick
view from one of the lookouts
My Brother-in-law Marc getting his feet wet on his honda
luckely they were nott all like this
old Mica mine
lunch break
none of us are as clean as we had started. The marks on the side of my Ranger were from sliding along some of the ruts with 1 wheel in the bottom and 1 on top. Before the end of the run there were some on the other side. As I told my wife we needed to take turns ridding along the top[][]
and of course
the best part[] [] []
I had winched the Cat out of this hole so he was trying to return the favour by helping my brother-in-law
when he got to the end of the hole he still couldn't get over the ledge that ran across the trail
finally got out.
was told later by one of the riders watching that in the hr or so they had been there, 10-12 machines had tried to go thru instead of around and mine was the only one to make it thru[8D][8D][8D]
You've got braggin' rights for a long time! Nice pics.

I know exactly how good you feel. Two weeks ago the oil filter came loose on my bro-in-law's diesel mule, and he lost all his oil...I had the absolute pleasure of towing him back to his house. Unfortunately I have no pictures...but a neighbor (with a big mouth []) saw the whole thing!
