We had a small gathering in Moab, UT this last week. There were five Rangers and one Rhino. We met some new friends and had a great time riding and exploring the area. We road seven to eight hours a day for three days. I think the biggest challenge was Wednesday afternoon when we endoured a terrible sand storm, visibility was down to about half mile.
Unfortunately, my camera was not performing very well, so I will only post one picture of the group. I'll try to get the IDs correct from right to left: Ron and Dennis, Ken and Kevin, Vic and Char, greg and Kathryn, John and Linda, Me (Joe).
The biggest challenge for me was driving home on Friday in the thousand mile per hour wind. There were times when I was driving in third gear just to keep moving. I guess the wind was steady at around 45 mph with gusts up to 60. That plus the hills kicked my butt. My little Chevy S-10 did very well under the circumstances.
Maybe some of the others will add a picture or two.
