This is an old post that I moved from the other forum, the original post was dated February 02 2007

Yesterday I installed my FergFab goodies which included the following: rear seat and rear seat mount, rear cage extension, cooler rack with floor, soft top, and 5 Crow 4-point harnesses. Let me just say that the craftsmanship was top notch and the service was outstanding. Everything fit excellent, and the powder coating appears to be of a very high quality. I was able to fit the soft top around my 5 panel wink mirror, which was a concern when I was ordering because it is cut out for their billet mirror. The only issue I had was the fact that nothing came with instructions. Most of the install is pretty self explanatory, but there were a few things that I had to double check with John at FergFab on just to make sure I was doing it right. John was always helpful and friendly, so it was more of an inconvenience than a problem, but a short instruction sheet would be a nice addition just in case you're installing the stuff after business hours. I am kind of concerned with the mounting positions of the rear outboard lap belts and have posted a picture of that as well. The tab has to be mounted at a funny angle to fit under the edge of the seat frame, other than that, everything is perfect.

I am extremely happy with everything so far, and have the thing at the boat top shop having a little extra done to it right now, I will post pics of that later!

One other little gripe I have, I thought I was getting red coolers. I asked for red, the picture was red, I got blue. If I weren't so lazy I would have done a little research beforehand and priced the coolers out locally. I picked 2 red ones up today for what I paid for 1 blue one.

That looks awesome and exactly what I'd like to do. I was just concerned about how well it would withstand the abuse I'd put it through. Probably WAY too much tree bangin' aroung here for it to look good very long. I was concerned about roll-over protection for rear passengers also. Not that I plan on rolling it....but WHOE DOES?!....lol

I flopped it about a week after I put the cage in, and there was no damage to any of it. I think it's just as strong as any of the units that don't go all of the way to the frame in the rear, and probably stronger than the units that have no triangulation in the roof area. It's definitely a well built and well triangulated piece.
