I really wanted a new one but felt I first needed to make an offer (to keep the wife from getting even) on a low hours used one nearby. I assume that 105 hrs qualifies as low hours. They accepted the offer....darn. I'm still pretty excited. If I catch the bug I can always make my second one a new one.
I take delivery in a week. Any suggestions as to how I should go about checking it out maintenance wise would be greatly appreciated. I'm not naturally mechanical but have ordered a shop manual and as long as I take my time, I should be able to do regular maintenance. I have a BMW RT Motorcycle which I maintain.
Also any suggestions as to what products to use to clean this beast would be helpful...it is a little dirty now and I want to make it look brand new.
Also, any information specific to the 2004 model year would be welcome.
Thanks.
