I am looking to purchase a new Ranger this weekend and am torn between the 570 fullsize and the 900. I currently have the 570 midsize and just needing the bigger machine. For those who own or have knowledge of either machine, what can you tell me? My biggest concern is, is the 570 motor enough in the fullsize frame? Most of what I do is hunt, however we have talked of getting back into the trail riding scene. I don't care about going fast, but I do care about longevity of the machine itself.

Thanks in advance.....

I've have the 900 and love it. I had a midsize Kawasaki at the same time and we used them both for hunting. The midsize for me was just too small.
I never looked at the 570 full size but maybe that's an option for you too.
I see your in Tomball. we have a branch store on Hicks St in Tomball.

I love my midsize but if I was going full size then I would be going full power and selecting the 900. But it all depends on your price and application.

If your budget allows for the larger unit, then I would move in that direction. Personally, I find the 900 to be incredibly smoother running, very responsive and would have added torque for heavier loads/hauling during hunting season. Lastly, my perception so far is the number of "goodies" to be far more for the 900 (clutches, used parts, accessories, etc.,) to be more readily available as well.

900. You won't regret it.

(and EPS as well. You don't "Have" to have it. But you have to have it.)

From what I hear the 570 full size still has a lot of torque and will probably accomodate the majority of your utility needs. My decision to get the 900 came down to what I ultimately wanted to do with the machine. I knew before I bought it that I wanted to put a lift with a good size tire, so it was important to me to have all of the available power that I could get. I guess it comes down to our own preferences, but I'm the kind of guy that I don't want to ever be in a situation where I regret not having the power. Not that I'll need the 68 HP all of the time, but if I do need it I know it's there.

It is better to have more power and not need it, then to need more power and not have it.

I have a 570 full size, the 570 suprised me very much at the power and torque it has! I raced my dads 2014 800 ranger and I jump out by about 1-1/2 ranger length for about 30 yards then he comes around 570 tops out at around 52, his 800 tops out at 55. The 570 will surprise you for sure! Lots more money for the 900! Just really depends on what you plan on doing with it. I know I'm very pleased with my 570 full size.

So far I'm happy with my 570. With the rebates the price is hard to beat. If they didn't have the big price spread I would have gone 900.

I've been on both I would say the 900 is the superior machine. It's much quieter vibrates a lot less. The 570 fullsize is louder than my 800.

Standard 900's go for just over 11k locally 570's are just over 9k. To me if I were looking I would spend the extra. Drive them both before you buy.

My dealer was 9149 for the 570 and 12,399 for the 900. So with the tax diff. 3,477.50 was the price spread.

570 fullsize wasn't available when I bought my 900. Since almost all my use is on semi-level ground, and noise level seems to be a difference; spending $4,000 for a 900 -or- $172.00 for a ATV Silencer muffler add-on https://www.atvsilencer.com/the-sil...select=390&atv_model=682&atv_brand_select=428 would have changed my outcome. $3,828 would have bought a nice trailer and several accessories. At the same time, now that I have my 900, I wouldn't want to trade down.
