I've never owned a Polaris product before today so I figured I could learn a few things about my new toy by joining this forum. I'd been wanting a side by side and knew that Polaris made a good product as they were used (and abused) by the railroad that I retired from. Mine is a 2012 Ranger 800 xp that I bought second hand. I also belong to a Honda XR forum and have found that you can gain lots of knowledge from other people who are interested in the same things as you, and hopefully help others as well. One thing that I've noticed already is a burnt/burning smell that I suspect is a worn belt, but we shall see. Thanks,
