I have a 2014 900 crew, i kept it pretty much stock last year. I am waiting on the UPSguy to get here with my new A Arms, tires, wheels, and rock sliders.

Hi Folks...I'm a new member. Recently purchased a 2002 Ranger 500 and of course it has a problem. It shuts off when engine gets hot and will not start. When cool, starts well. I ordered a service manual on line so waiting for that to arrive. Until then, any suggestions??? Thanks. Sorry...I wasn't sure where to post this.

Vapor locking issue probably. Heat is causing the fuel to vaporise in the carb.

Didn't know where to post it so u used his newbie forum haha. If u have over heating issues you shouldn't ride it until this is figured out as can cause damage to a lot of things I'm not to familiar with the older ones but am assuming its liquid cooled could be as simple as low on coolant but gotta remember a lot of people neglect maitnance on these things even more so than there car so it could be a water pump issue as well.
