Called local dealer to see if they had a glass tip out lock and ride full windshield for my 2015 crew. I asked if Polaris has any limitation on how fast you can drive will with extended. He didn't know. Does anyone here know.

Thanks.

On my poly tip out I can drive as fast as it goes and 0 problems. My cousin has the glass tipout and he does the same. We both trailer them and been 80 or so and no issues.

I would not haul mine at 80 mph with the window in the open position, the only thing holding it in place is the 1/8 or 3/16 lifting strut ball. If either side breaks, you can watch a $1200 windshield scatter across the highway ( depending on how much the laminate holds together).
Or worse, it causes someone else to have a serious accident.

I definitely agree. It may withstand top speed of the Ranger, but I don't know how it would hold up to interstate speeds.......and wouldn't want to find out.

Got it installed. Went riding. Very good fit. The gap between the glass and roll bar is very tight. I am a little worried that any flex in the roll bar may crack the glass. Also, in the closed position the pin needs to be built up with a couple of washers. It's just no long enough. I see threads on this though and is a known issue. Otherwise, I am pretty happy with it.

The glass will move a little with the rollcage.

Polaris has a adjustable pin kit for the windshield, post a pic of what you have now, for confirmation.

Since you purchased the tip out, Rocky Mountain ATV has the best price on the Polaris wiper system if you chose to purchase one.

I have a basic poly Polaris lock and ride and cruise 50mph on it all the time with no issues what so ever.
I would imagine towing it at 65-70 wouldn't be a issue at all but I use a cover when hauling mine. Saves from rock chips to the paint or headlights or windshild. Not to mention road grime the cover was worth every penny.

After checking one out at a dealer, I decided that it would be one of the must haves if a got a new Ranger.
