Increased humidity, temperature changes, short trips add up to water in oil tank accumulating .The tip -off is rising oil level.
I check my Ranger 400 by loosening ( not removing unless I'm feeling SuperFast ) the oil tank drain plug and draining water accumulation. Of course this is prior to starting engine, after it has sat overnight or longer.
I do this once a month, weekly if plowing, doing cold weather running. Want to put a valve in place of the plug, anyone done this ?
